Choosing a model
C1 or C1 Pro?
C1 for interiors, stairwells and under cover when you already control the network. C1 Pro when mixed indoor and outdoor jobs need AUSCORS NTRIP so the cloud sits on real-world coordinates.
Why C1 instead of a tripod or a drone?
C1 is the walk through rooms a drone cannot reach and a tripod would station to death. Colourised SLAM, MapShare included, optional RTK when the model needs coordinates.
Who is the C1 series for?
Survey and AEC crews capturing interiors, stairwells, stockpiles under cover and GPS-denied rooms. If the site is a plant, pit or a long traverse, look at C10.
On the job
How do you carry a C1?
Handheld in the kit. Survey pole adaptor when you need height or a known mark. Unitree GO2 adaptor when you want hands free. Those last two are add-ons.
Can I put C1 on a drone?
No. C1 is a ground walk. For aerial capture we spec Matrice and the payload to the job.
Buying and delivery
What arrives in the box?
The scanner, batteries and the carry solution for that model: soft bag on C1, hard case on C1 Pro. Pole and dog mounts are separate lines. We confirm the kit on the quote.
What is not in the C1 kit?
A finished BIM model, a tripod-class control network, or a drone. The cloud is measured data. Drawings still need a person.
Data and software
What software is in the kit?
SHARE Capture on site. PointClouds Studio for processing. MapShare 50 GB for one year so clients open a browser link, not a ZIP.
Can we use C1 scans in CAD or Revit?
Yes as a spatial underlay. Export LAS, LAZ, E57 or PLY. After import the cloud is for viewing and measuring, not an editable BIM object by itself.
