Reviewing the card is the expensive part

You can capture the corridor. Hours of video still need someone to mark cracks, missing helmets, or the fitting that failed. A model on the aircraft puts those cues in the live view while you fly.

DJI already ships people, vehicle and boat detection. This is for the classes those models do not cover, trained against your sites and loaded onto a named serial.

From serial to live detections

Onboard on Matrice 4, 4D and 400. Bound to the serial you send.

  1. Send the job and the serial

    Name, airframe (M4, M4D or M400) and the aircraft serial. Tell us what to detect. Copy the serial from Pilot 2 or the plate on the airframe.

  2. We train and DJI-quantize

    We label the classes you name, train the model, and submit it through DJI's Intelligent Computing Platform so it runs on the chip in the aircraft. DJI does not train on your samples.

  3. Fly it in Pilot 2

    The model is bound to that serial. Boxes show in DJI Pilot 2. Dock 3 fleets can take the same file over FlightHub 2.

Trial first, then a pack or a build

The trial proves the path on your aircraft. Ready packs cover two common jobs. Everything else is a quote.

How it works

How does a custom AI model run on a Matrice?
You send the job, the airframe and the aircraft serial. We train an object-detection or segmentation model on the classes you name, then submit it through DJI's Intelligent Computing Platform so it is quantized for the chip in the aircraft. The file is bound to that serial. Detections show in DJI Pilot 2. Dock 3 fleets can take the same file over FlightHub 2.
Why do you need the serial number?
DJI distributes a quantized model to specified aircraft. The serial is how the trial lands on your M4, M4D or M400 instead of a generic download. You can copy it from DJI Pilot 2 or from the plate on the airframe.
Does this replace DJI's built-in people, vehicle and boat detection?
Those three classes already ship on the aircraft. This service is for the classes those models do not cover: road defects, PPE, insulators, conveyor idlers, or the list your SMS already uses. Up to ten classes per model. Narrow class lists hold up better in the field.

Which airframes take a trial?
Matrice 4 (M4, including 4E and 4T), Matrice 4D (including 4TD), and Matrice 400. Those are the platforms DJI opens onboard custom models on. If your mix is different, say so in the form and we will tell you whether a trial still fits.

What is the trial?
A detection model loaded onto the serial you give us so you can fly it in Pilot 2. It is not a cart download and not a substitute for a custom training quote. After the trial, ready yearly packs or a quoted custom build are the two ways to keep it.
What are the ready packs?
Road defects and PPE detection. Each is a yearly subscription at A$99. Same onboard path as a custom build. Start from a trial on your serial so you know the classes match the job.
When do I need a custom build?
When the ready packs do not match your asset class, lighting, or class list. We quote against your data. There is no fixed cart price for a bespoke model.
Does a model replace a registered surveyor or a CASA approval?
No. The model flags cues in the live view. Your CASA obligations and the survey method stay yours. Detection rates belong in a validation report on your sites, not in a marketing claim.
