What usually happens to a scan after you leave site

You capture a clean project, then export it. The annotations you made on site are gone. The photoreal view is in a different folder from the cloud. The client gets a 6 GB ZIP, a link that expires in a week, and a note saying they need to install a viewer. They open the PDF instead, and the scan you were paid for is never looked at again.

    Install MapShare Bridge once on the PC that runs SHARE Point Cloud Studio. It reads your project library directly.

  2. Publish the project

    Pick a project and publish. Bridge uploads the cloud, the photoreal epochs, annotations and photos as one scene.

  3. Send the link

    Send the link. It opens on a laptop, a tablet or a phone, with nothing to install and no account to create. Embed it in your report if you like.

Product

What is MapShare?
MapShare is the delivery layer for a SHARE scanner capture. It takes the project as you left it, colourised point cloud, photoreal view where you captured one, on-site annotations and photos, and publishes it as one unlisted link. Your client opens the link in a browser and sees the whole scene in real-world coordinates. Mirrormapper builds and hosts it in Australia.
Does my client need an account or software?
No. Your client opens the link in any modern browser on a laptop, tablet or phone. There is nothing to install and no account to create. You can also embed the scene in a report or a web page. Only you, the publisher, need an account.
Are the links public?
No. Every link is unlisted and not indexed by search engines. There is no directory or public gallery, so the only people who can open a project are the people you send the link to. You can unpublish a project at any time and the link stops working immediately.

Workflow

What files can I upload?
SHARE Point Cloud Studio projects through MapShare Bridge, including the colourised LAS or LAZ cloud, photoreal epochs, annotations and photos. You can also upload .las, .laz, .ply and common splat formats directly, plus GeoTIFF orthos, DXF and GeoJSON as overlay layers. That covers outputs from DJI Terra, Pix4D and Metashape as well.
Do measurements work in the photoreal view?
Yes, and they measure the scan, not the picture. Every measurement resolves against the underlying point cloud, so a distance taken in the photoreal view is the same distance you would get in the cloud. Splat surfaces are for looking. The point cloud is for numbers.

What is included with a SHARE scanner?
Every SHARE scanner sold by Mirrormapper includes 12 months of MapShare Studio, worth A$990. That is 15 active projects, 250 GB and your logo on every link. It activates from the MapShare email you receive after purchase, one account per order, no code to type in. After 12 months you can continue on Studio or move to the free Trial tier.
What happens after the 12 months?
You choose. Continue on Studio at A$99 a month or A$990 a year and nothing changes. Or move to Trial, keep one published project live, and download the rest. We email you 30 days before the year ends. Your files are never deleted without notice.

Data

Where is my data stored?
On Australian servers. Mirrormapper is an Australian company and your project data stays in Australia, which matters for government, defence-adjacent and infrastructure clients with data sovereignty requirements. Storage is separate from the SHARE cloud, so what you publish here is not shared back to the manufacturer.
Am I locked in?
No. Your files stay yours and you can download every original at any time from your account. MapShare hosts and presents the scene. It does not convert your data into a format you cannot take elsewhere. If you cancel, you keep everything you uploaded.

Plans

What counts as an active project?
A project that is currently published and viewable by link. When a job is finished you can archive it. Archived projects stay viewable at their existing link but no longer count toward your active limit, so a Studio account can carry far more than 15 delivered jobs over time.
