A card of R-JPEGs is not a report

You land with a card of R-JPEGs. DJI Thermal Analysis Tool can read a frame. It will not lay out A4. Most crews paste screenshots into Word. The asset owner gets a folder, a spreadsheet, and a meeting they did not ask for.

What you can do in this build

  • Mission, not a single frame

    Drop in the whole folder. Thermalmapper reads GPS, gimbal and radiometric data on the PC. The project saves as a local .tmap, so reopen keeps zoom, palette, notes and page order.

  • Thermal inspect

    Ironbow and the other palettes. Gradient and threshold are display-only, so they flip without a re-extract. Point, box, line and circle on thermal or visual, with auto labels (S1, L1, R1), severity chips and notes. Temperatures come from the DJI SDK, not from pixel colour. Set emissivity, reflected temp, distance and humidity per image, or batch them on Setup.

  • Findings on a map

    Each shot gets a GPS pin and a projected field-of-view cone on Esri imagery, from heading, gimbal and camera FOV. The cover page shows the whole mission. Overlay GeoJSON, KML, CSV, shapefile, GeoTIFF or DXF. Tiles come online. Processing stays local.

  • Client-ready A4

    Your logo and business details on every page. Cover and content from blocks: image, RGB and thermal pair, map, measurement table, conditions, headers, text. Drag to reorder. The page editor is the PDF. Export branded PDF, plus CSV and GeoJSON for the findings. No client portal.

  • Severity that matches the job

    Editable templates: electrical (NETA / NFPA 70B), solar (IEC 62446-3 style ΔT), building and roofing (AS 4349.1), or general Low / Med / High / Critical. ΔT against a reference you set.

  • Operator setup

    Company details, logos, inspector list, units and report defaults live on the PC, not in the job file. Find Maxima for hotspots. Fill ambient, wind and RH from mission GPS and time (Open-Meteo).

    Drop in the folder. Thermalmapper reads GPS, gimbal and radiometric data locally and saves a .tmap you can reopen.

    Lay out A4 so what you see is the file. Branded PDF, plus CSV and GeoJSON for findings. No client portal.

What is Thermalmapper?
Thermalmapper is desktop inspection software for a radiometric drone flight. Import the job folder, mark the faults, and export a branded A4 PDF they can action. Findings also export as CSV and GeoJSON. There is no client portal. Mirrormapper builds it. It is not DJI Thermal Analysis Tool with a skin.
Is Thermalmapper free?
Yes. Free forever. Unlimited reports. No credit card. No licence fee, no seat count, and no renewal. The download is the software. We do not sell a paid Thermalmapper plan on this page.

How do I get the download?
Use Get the download and leave your name, email, business and phone number. We email the installer to that address. There is no anonymous link on the page, and nothing is added to the Shopify cart.

What cameras does it take?
R-JPEG from the H20T, H30T, M4T, M30T and Mavic 3T.
What does the report include?
A branded A4 PDF from a page editor that matches the file: cover plus content blocks (image, RGB and thermal pair, map, measurement table, conditions, headers, text). Measurements on the frames, GPS pins and field-of-view cones on Esri imagery, and severity from the template you pick. CSV and GeoJSON for the findings. It does not stitch an ortho.

Does it include AI models?
Not yet. Auto-annotation models for solar, electrical and building work are coming soon. They are not in this build. Custom AI Models is a separate Mirrormapper service if you need a trained model before those land in Thermalmapper.
