FAQ
Which aircraft does the AL2 fit?
Matrice 5TD. It mounts on the right side with the Accessory Mount, so it can fly with the AS2 Speaker on the left.
How bright is it?
11 lux at 100 m in Spotlight mode and 2.7 lux in Floodlight mode, about 2.6 times as bright as the AL1. At 100 m the spot covers 500 m² and the flood 1,300 m².
Does the beam follow the camera?
Yes, by default. Gimbal follow keeps the beam on the camera view, and Auto mode switches between spot and flood with the zoom level. Turn follow off and the light holds its current angle.
What lighting modes does it have?
Spotlight, Floodlight, Both On and Auto, plus fast and slow strobe for alerts. It tilts from -90° to +90°, so it can also light upward.
Does it affect obstacle sensing?
Yes. Visual obstacle sensing switches off while the light is on, and carrying it affects flight time.
