Choosing & buying
When is V4e Pro the pick versus V10?
V4e Pro is a 320 g handheld you point at the mark. V10 is a pole rover with cameras or a longer laser. If the crew already works on a pole, look at V10. If they want to point a pocket receiver for offset shots, this is the V4 pick.
Accuracy & performance
What accuracy should we expect from the laser?
FJD quotes laser tilt measurement inside 3 cm at 3 m within 30 degrees, and 3D tilt error inside 2.5 cm at 30 degrees or 3.5 cm at 60 degrees. Occupied GNSS is centimetre-class RTK (8 mm plus 1 ppm horizontal) when the fix holds. We check the job against a mark you care about on a demo.
Does the green laser stay visible in sunlight?
FJD rates the beam as visible in sunlight for aiming. Bright noon on pale concrete is still harder than shade. The receiver confirms the point when you are on it, so you are not guessing from the spot alone.
Workflow & software
What field software does V4e Pro run?
Trion Survey on a phone or FJD controller. We set the controller path during handover so the first paid job uses the same method.
Support & AU supply
What does a Mirrormapper V4e deploy include?
Configured receiver, coordinate and NTRIP settings for your site, and hands-on handover from the same engineers who stay on support. Australia-wide.
