Matrice 4D and Matrice 4TD share a Dock 3 airframe. The sensor is the buy.
4D is repeat visual: mapping, progress, change you can compare week to week. 4TD adds radiometric thermal: night, hotspots, electrical faults, a pad that launches because something is wrong now.
This is not a handheld post and not an M400 / L3 post.
4D: geometry on a cadence

Can 4TD carry L3?
No. L3 is Matrice 400.
Do I need 4TD if I already own H30T on M400?
Different program. H30T is crewed inspection. 4TD is the docked thermal pad. Many fleets have both.
Will 4D see inside a building?
No. Dock aircraft do not replace a handheld walk.
