At the 2026 Shenzhen UAV Expo we visited Shenzhen WindRise Technology. The product on the stand was a dock payload winch: drop a compatible load within the aircraft's capacity, so one pad is not stuck on a single fixed task.
That is a market-entry story. It is not a kit we list on mirrormapper.com.au today. Launched in China. Australian timing and CASA-aware carriage of dropped loads are unannounced here. Say that once and move on.
What the stand was selling
A dock that can winch a compatible payload. The concepts on the floor were medical drop, remote delivery, traffic cones, flotation for search. One pad, several taskings, if the aircraft, the winch and the rules all line up.
We do not run those drops as a supplied Australian system. Do not read this as a catalogue page.
What we quote instead
Dock 3 with 4D or 4TD for repeat visual or thermal on a qualified pad. Payload experiments and third-party winches stay in the "talk to us about the concept" bucket until we can honour supply, warranty and ops.

Does this change a standard Dock 3 inspection pad?
No. Inspection and thermal pads do not need a winch. Do not add one for theatre.
