Shipping & lead times

Lead times, freight and how a high-value crate actually gets to site. Legal checkout terms stay on our shipping policy.

Typical lead times

  • In-stock accessories and spare batteries — usually 1–3 business days to dispatch from Melbourne.
  • Enterprise aircraft (Matrice, Dock) — often 1–3 weeks depending on configuration and AU stock. Confirmed on the quote.
  • SHARE handheld scanners — commonly held or short lead; confirmed per order.
  • Specialist payloads built or configured to order — longer lead times; the quote states the window before you raise a PO.

Freight method and insurance

We ship with reputable Australian carriers. High-value consignments travel insured. Declared value and packing method are confirmed before dispatch.

Who signs for a high-value crate

Orders over AUD $500 require a signature on delivery. For aircraft and payloads, have a named site contact ready — gatehouse staff who cannot open the crate still need to know who owns the delivery.

Mine sites and remote areas

Tell us the site rules early: induction, escort, restricted delivery hours, and whether the carrier can reach the gate. Remote and FIFO locations may need freight staging through a regional depot.

International

We primarily ship to Australian street addresses. International freight is quoted case by case — ask on the quote form.

Dangerous goods — LiPo batteries

Lithium batteries are dangerous goods. Air and some road services have limits on watt-hours, packing instructions and labelling. If you need batteries shipped to a remote site, say so on the order — we will pack and book the correct DG service rather than a standard parcel that gets rejected mid-route.
